April’s Excellent Adventure (to Origin)

Thursday was my very last day in both the café and Antigua. Luis Pedro stopped by to introduce himself, and it was very nice to meet him. He seems like a very down-to-earth dude.

I was very sad to leave because a bit of me fell in love with Antigua. I spent every day in the café, hiking, talking to new people, and trying amazing drinks and food. I had a good time with all the gals in the cafe; I felt like I made some friends by the end of my trip.

As a goodbye to Guatemala, I did one last hike with my friend, Jonathan to Cerro de la Cruz to overlook the view of Antigua.

  • Being surrounded by a different side of coffee culture and visiting origin has only inspired and motivated me to stay the course.
  • Full culture immersion has allowed me to really get to know everyone I met.
  • We are working with some really great people here in Antigua. The quality speaks for itself and now we know why.

Thanks Guatemala, it’s been real.
