Wonderblend is our perennial seasonal blend with fresh, popping flavors. Each year, we pair unique coffees together for a playful blend. Our fifth version of Wonderblend features two distinct, naturally processed coffees: Papua New Guinea Jiwaka Arufa Natural and Rwanda Sholi Natural. Natural processed coffees leave the cherry fruit, pulp, and mucilage layers on during the drying stage, resulting in coffees with a much sweeter, fruit-forward tasting profile. This year, we wanted to really push for a punchy, wild blend. The Papua New Guinea Jiwaka Arufa Natural was an exceptional standout as we were looking for unique Indo-Pacific coffees for our Roaster's Choice offerings. Rwanda Sholi Natural is a women-produced coffee that we have featured before, originally intended for our Lotus Blend, but we wanted to give it more of a spotlight. In the end, we paired two intense naturals reminiscent of lemonade and elderberry. Both of these coffees have undergone extended fermentations, so they are more intense, wonderful as a pour over, or even espresso for the adventurous.
