STORY
Clovis Vásquez was an enterprising farmer who successfully transitioned from selling cattle, vehicles, and vegetables to producing high-quality specialty coffee. Clovis purchased a plot of land and began growing coffee that he would sell to Cocafelol. Clovis' coffee growing operation is the cornerstone of his family’s business, which they now focus on as their sole product. The offerings produced on Finca Agua Colorada are 100% sun-dried and processed from January through May. The altitude of the farm and the annual rainfall of the area result in their consistently remarkable coffees. Our Director of Coffee was able to visit Clovis and his farm in early 2020, prior to the onset of the pandemic, and learned about their farming practices and coffee production.
