This month is full of exciting events. From our weekly public cuppings to latte art throwdowns, November is going to be quite an engaging month.
Traditional Cupping | November 2nd | 2925 S St at 2pm
Tasting different coffees side by side is perhaps one of the most important practices in learning to develop a palate. This week we will learn to compare our new coffee offerings with some old classics, and maybe even some wildcards.
AMA | November 9th | 2925 S St at 2pm
Ask me anything. Have you ever wanted to pick a barista’s brain on how to make the best home brew or their favorite coffee? This week we asked our staff members to send us some questions that they have always wondered about and will open the floor to public questions as well. If you have any nagging questions, this cupping is for you.
Hands-On Barista Class (Public) | November 10th | 2925 S St at 2pm
-CLASS FULL- Ever wanted to learn how to make espresso drinks and pour latte art? This in-depth class will give you barista knowledge- from espresso to milk quality. These classes do fill up quickly, so make sure you sign up well in advance!
Turkey Drive | November 15th
Every year, Temple Coffee buys turkeys, pies, and Thanksgiving accoutrements to donates to the Sacramento Food Bank. We’ll be rounding up a crew of team members to gather food to feed those in need.
Latte Art Throwdown | November 15th | At Coffeebar in Reno, NV
A Temple crew will be heading to Reno to support the Reno coffee community and show them what we’re made of.
Retail presentation | November 16th | 2925 S St at 2pm
With the holidays quickly approaching, we wanted to offer some additional information on our current retail selection. We will go over how to use our brewing devices, grinders, scales, kettles etc. and make some recommendations on what would make the perfect gift for your coffee lover.
Cupping Cancelled | November 23rd
Happy Thanksgiving! The cupping this week is cancelled, but feel free to check out the cafes for extra special Black Friday sales!
Coffee Mocktails | November 30th | 2925 S St at 2pm
We’ve all seen it: that one barista in the Barista Championships making ice cream with liquid nitrogen while crafting a signature beverage on stage, with special-made lavender syrup, served with a wooden spoon (that they carved themselves). Okay, so maybe we won’t get that extreme, but there is a lot to be said about creating a tasty, unique beverage. Come try your hand at creating your own and see who can make the best signature drink.
