Behind the Blend: Festivity 2024
As the weather finally cools and the holiday season approaches, we at Temple are excited to introduce a favorite fall tradition: the Festivity Blend! This year’s blend combines flavors that embody the season, creating an approachable, everyday coffee we’re certain you’ll love.
For this year’s Festivity Blend, we selected three standout coffees: Guatemalan Candelaria, Ethiopian Natural Gora Kone, and Costa Rican Sonora Red Honey. Each coffee is exceptional on its own, but together they create a rich, full-bodied, and complex blend, with each component adding depth and enjoyment to every sip.
The Candelaria serves as the anchor, delivering a rich, creamy body that forms the blend’s foundation. The Sonora Estate’s honey-processed beans add layers of sweetness and complexity. Finally, we included the Ethiopian Gora Kone, which brings a lively fruitiness and acidity that makes the blend shine in the cup.
As you taste this blend, you’ll be greeted by warm notes of vanilla, followed by the creamy smoothness of roasted chestnuts. The experience wraps up with a touch of tartness, evoking the flavor of holiday cranberry jam.
Our goal for the Festivity Blend was to capture the essence of familiar holiday flavors in a cup. Whether it’s the finishing touch at a holiday gathering or a quiet morning ritual, this blend is the perfect pause in the holiday hustle.
