Geiner Montano's devotion and enthusiasm for coffee production were instilled in him by his father and uncles. Geiner was introduced to the specialty coffee industry when he was only ten years old, and since then his passion for coffee production has continued to flourish. Today, Geiner operates Finca La Esperanza with assistance from his son, Jamer, who helps out by cleaning drying systems and raking parchment coffee. La Esperanza sits on 4.3 hectares of land with over 80% of the property committed to growing Castillo and Colombia coffee varieties. The processing and drying infrastructure at La Esperanza is meticulously well-maintained, reflective of Geiner's commitment to producing consistent, high-quality coffee. Geiner recently installed a new mechanical drying system and has plans to build a dormitory for his seasonal workers. We hope you enjoy the result of Geiner's hard work and dedication through this coffee.
