Fazenda Passeio is a coffee estate in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil, originally named for its dense forests and rich iron mines. Adolfo Henrique Vieira Ferreira is the current head of the estate. His family has been producing coffee in the area for over three generations. The estate focuses on efficient coffee production, environmentally sustainable practices, and workforce welfare. The native forests around the estate have been protected and are often visited by ecologists, students, and tourists. All coffee is hand-picked by the expert workforce employed on the estate and in exchange for their labor, the estate's workers are provided schooling for their children, continued workforce training, and housing. This is a balanced and classic coffee with bright hints of citrus acidity. We recently carried this coffee as a sneak peek for our Roaster's Choice Exclusive Single Origin coffee club offering!
