Graphic Designer

Job Summary

Under the guidance of the Art Director, the Graphic Designer will create digital and print designs from concept to completion. This position is responsible for maintaining a consistent online and in-store brand presence, promoting digital and print marketing campaigns, and adding creativity and inspiration to the Creative Team.


  • Design and develop print and digital materials such as menus, signage, coffee bag labels, newsletters, retail cards, coffee sleeves, Google display advertisements, etc.
  • Design and create artwork on merchandise.
  • Help source quality merchandise items.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director on marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Work closely with the Art Director and Social Media Coordinator to produce, style, and execute photoshoots.
  • Photograph merchandise for Temple’s website and other digital marketing.
  • Process and retouch images. 
  • Regularly analyze digital content and measure digital reach by reporting on trends and analytics to optimize content for best results.
  • Upload photos, hero images, product descriptions, and blog copy to the Temple website.
  • Update products and imagery to our website via Shopify and help with additional Shopify needs and third party apps including ReCharge, B2B Wholesale Cub, and Locksmith.
  • Provide content for our social media channels on an as-needed basis.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Extensive knowledge of electronic, print, and graphics media.
  • Knowledge of typography, color, hierarchy, composition, rhythm, and balance. 
  • Superior artistic and design skills.
  • Extremely proficient in Adobe editing software, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign (additional knowledge of Adobe programs such as XD, Premiere, and After Effects is a plus but not required).
  • Excellent photography and videography skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of working both collaboratively and independently.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Able to consistently receive feedback in a constructive and positive manner.
  • Understand digital marketing KPIs.
  • Understand SEO and web traffic data.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solver.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JS a plus but not required.
  • 2+ years graphic design experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Compensation and Hours

  • Pay: $22-24/hour
  • This is a full-time hourly position. 40 hours a week, M-F, 7:30am-4pm
