Social Media Coordinator

Job Summary

Under the guidance of the Creative Director, the Social Media Coordinator will develop content for Temple’s various digital platforms and promote the Temple brand. This position is responsible for maintaining a consistent online brand presence while growing brand awareness, engaging with the online community, and promoting Temple cafes, products, and services.


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Create content for all social media channels: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and new channels as developed
  • Write and develop creative social content while keeping a consistent brand voice and aesthetic across all platforms
  • Actively manage editorial calendar for all social media channels, website, blog, etc.
  • Develop digital channels while staying ahead of emerging digital media trends and practices
  • Manage all partnerships and collaborations with content creators and maintain new and ongoing relationships with company affiliates, both internal and external
  • Set KPIs for campaigns to determine the performance and overall success of campaigns
  • Create and deploy paid digital advertising complementary to marketing campaigns
  • Regularly analyze digital content and measure digital reach by reporting on trends and analytics to optimize content for the best results. Identify weaknesses in digital social strategy and suggest recommendations for improvements

    Required Skills/Abilities

    • Must be available to maintain a schedule of: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM (30-40 hours).
    • Flexible, adaptable, reliable, and open to working overtime, or change workdays if an occasional need should arise.
    • Must be willing to use a personal vehicle and log mileage for monthly reimbursement.
    • High school diploma or GED (Required).
    • Experience managing social media platforms, SEO/SEM, and marketing digital asset databases.
    • Experience engaging with online communities and business partners while always remaining professional, tactful, and understanding.
    • Able to utilize Adobe Creative Suite (namely Photoshop, Premiere, and Illustrator) to make photo and video assets to promote Temple’s brand, product releases, and marketing campaigns.
    • Assist with internal and external communications and public relations activities as needed.
    • Excellent communication, writing skills, analytical abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and without sacrificing work quality.
    • Experience with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Shopify Plus, and Klaviyo.
    • Knowledge of DSLR cameras, video and lighting equipment, digital photography and video production practices, and graphic design.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Fine Arts, or related discipline (preferred), or 2+ years of experience in social media management, marketing, communications, or related field.
    • Specialty coffee experience, although greatly appreciated, is not required.

    Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

    Compensation and Hours

    • Pay: From $20.00 per hour
    • This is a full-time hourly position. 40 hours a week, M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm
