Story

The Caldera Dark Blend is our interpretation of a classic dark blend, bold, smooth, and deeply satisfying. This blend brings together three distinctive coffees from Latin America, carefully composed to create a balanced and harmonious cup.

Caldera Dark Blend is sourced from dedicated smallholder producers who meticulously cultivate and harvest each crop. Beans from Huila, Colombia, contribute a rich sweetness and full body. From Antigua, Guatemala, an esteemed region defined by nutrient-rich volcanic soil and surrounded by seven volcanoes, come expertly washed, hand-picked cherries that impart notes of dark chocolate and a vibrant brightness.

Coffee from the Chirripó and West Valley regions of Costa Rica, known for their high elevations and strictly hard bean classification, are selectively harvested by smallholder producers and cooperatives. These beans enhance the blend with a refined complexity, rich mouthfeel, and a bold, lingering finish. The strictly hard bean designation reflects the slower maturation at higher altitudes, resulting in denser beans with heightened sweetness and depth of flavor.

In every cup of Caldera Dark Blend, we hope you experience not only its depth and character but also the care, craftsmanship, and dedication behind its creation.
