Story

Each year, we set out to create an exciting new version of our Festivity Blend. We began working on this seasonal blend in the spring by sampling, tasting, and blending various coffees, then repeating this process over and over until we discovered a remarkable flavor profile. Our goal each year with the Festivity Blend is to create a unique blend that is greater than the sum of its parts; a harmonious blend that kindles a sense of warmth, coziness, and cheer. The first component comes from the mountainous region of Huehuetenango, north of Guatemala. This coffee is produced by the Vides 58 family estate farms covering 157 hectares, a rich blend of Caturra and Bourbon coffees that are fully washed and patio dried over many days. The second component comes from smallholder producers in the Caldas region near Manizales. Siruma, our export partner, builds community lots that are meticulous about washing and drying their coffees. The third coffee comes from the Guji region of Ethiopia. This natural processed Mulish is an outstanding, consistent powerhouse each year and a staple of our Dharma blend for over 8 years. For this year's Festivity blend, we aimed for a rich, comforting blend to enjoy all winter. As winter arrives, we look forward to the simple pleasures of enjoying a comforting cup of coffee with friends and family. We hope our Festivity Blend evokes feelings full of bliss and comfort.
